North County Fire In The News

April 20th, North County Fire provided personnel and their truck to the 2nd annual Girls Firefighter Camp hosted by California Fire Women and MPC. It is an ever growing program that allowed girls ages 14-18 the opportunity to experience multiple disciplines in the fire service - firefighting, CPR, rope rescue, forcible entry, wildland, search and rescue, etc.

On December 2nd, the Junior League of Monterey County organized an event at the Girls Scouts of the Central Coast center in Castroville, CA, to bolster Partnership for Children's mission of enhancing the holiday season for the children they serve. North County Fire was invited to participate alongside the Carol Group - The Cannery Rogues Barber Shop Quartet.
